Mr. and Mrs. Henricus Smith of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Danielle Sandra Smit to Mr. Michael Blair Rodgers, son of Dr. Sara Alice Tucker of Cornelia and the late Mr. Ronald G. Rodgers.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Moynihan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Martinus Smit.

She is a 1997 graduate of Woodward Academy in College Park. She graduated in 2001 from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C., with a bachelor's degree in biology and from the Medical University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C., in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse with Rose Medical Hospital in Denver, Colo.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Jewell Rodgers of Gainesville, Fla., the late Dr. Earl G. Rodgers and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Tucker.

He is a 1999 graduate of Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. He graduated in 2003 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is employed as a director of service delivery with EthosPartners Healthcare Management Group in Denver, Colo.

The couple plan to wed Nov. 13, 2010, at St. Malo Chapel on the Rock in Estes Park, Colo.
