Nancy Arnold of Gainesville and Jimmy Smith of Talmo announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Elizabeth Smith to Daniel Blake Sullins, son of Stana Hopwood of Oakwood and Ronnie and Lisa Sullins of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bud Reed and J.T. Wilkins, both of Gainesville, and the late Valeria Reed, and Bobbie Wilkins.

She is a 2004 graduate of Jackson County High School in Jefferson. She graduated in 2007 from Lanier Technical College in Oakwood.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ruby and Stan Hopwood of Flowery Branch, Hammond Sullins of Gainesville, and the late Jewell Sullins.

He is a 2003 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He is attending North Georgia College & State University in Dahlongea.

The couple plan to wed April 30, 2011, at The Grove in Maysville.
