Mr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Riddle III of Tyron, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Lucille Marie Riddle to Mr. Johnny Mack Brown Jr., son of Ms. Patricia L. Roberts of Auburn and the late Mr. Johnny M. Brown.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel E. Constance of Columbus, N.C., and the late Dr. and Mrs. Arthur C. Riddle Jr.

She graduated from Brenau University in Gainesville with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed as general manager with Best Buy Mobile.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. W. Faye Brown of Oakwood, the late Mr. James P. Brown, Mr. Harold A. Roberts of New Port Richey, Fla., and the late Mrs. Carolyn J. Bingham Roberts.

He is employed as an inventory manager with Commerical Roofing Specialties in Doraville.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 1, 2011, at The Carl House in Auburn.
