Jackie and Henson Reeder Jr. of Demorest announce the engagement of their daughter Lindsey Diana Reeder to Christopher Casey Smith, son of Chris and Robin Smith of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Henson Reeder Sr. of Baldwin, the late Nina Reeder and the late Jackie and Stanford Bennett.She is a 2003 graduate of Habersham Central High School in Mount Airy. She is attending Gainesville State College in Oakwood. She is employed as a retail sales consultant with AT&T in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of James and Edith Joy of Gainesville, Lee R. Smith of Gainesville and the late Shirley Smith.He is a 2001 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He is employed as a firefighter with Hall County Fire Services.

The couple plans an open-church wedding at 2 p.m. March 22, 2008, at Union Grove Congressional Holiness Church in Cleveland.
