Doug Rainwater of Clermont and Christy Ledford of Clermont announce the engagement of their daughter Nancy “Ann-Marie” Rainwater to Louis Martin Scharf, son of Charles and Kay Scharf of Chamberlain, S.D. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Zack and Wilma Grier of Lula, and Nancy Rainwater-Gilleland and the late James Rainwater of Clermont. She is a 2006 graduate of Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Rabun Gap. She plans to graduate in 2014 from Strayer University with a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in hospitality and tourism management.
