Joel and Cindy Puckett of Buford announce the engagement of their daughter Whitney Rae Puckett to Erik Roland Herrington, son of Egon and Tara Herrington of Braselton. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Hilda Hayes of Buford, Sidney and Janette Hayes of Lawrenceville, and Edna Puckett of Buford and the late Gladston Puckett. She is a 2007 graduate of Mill Creek High School in Hoschton.
