Becky Pratt of Gainesville announces the engagement of her daughter Kayla Marie Pratt to Tyler Levi Howard, son of Stanley and Diane Howard of Murrayville. The bride is the daughter of the late Michael Pratt.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2006 from Lake Lanier School of Massage in Gainesville with a degree in massage therapy. She is employed by Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Frank and Becky Davidson of Gainesville and Andre and Beatrice Howard of Dahlonega.

He is a 2004 graduate of Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega.

The couple plan to wed October 2010.
