Jeffery Kenneth Phillips and the late Cindy Renee Phillips of Commerce announce the engagement of their daughter Samantha Monique Phillips to Clayton Lee Cox Jr., son of Clayton Lee Cox Sr. and Winter Lake Cox of Gainesville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ken and Becky Phillips of Toccoa, and the late Dorothy Robinson. She is a 2010 graduate of Habersham Central High School in Mount Airy.
