Randall and Brenda Peters of Dublin announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Jeannette Peters to Jason Lamar King, son of Bruce and Ann King of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of E. L. and Hazel Peters of Dublin, Ruth Holland of Dayton, Ohio, and the late Walter Holland.She is a 1999 graduate of Evans High School in Evans. She graduated in 2002 from Mercer University in Macon with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish. She is employed as a probation officer with JAG Probation in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Marie Bryant of Gainesville, the late Charles Bryant and the late Sylvester and Alice King.He is a 1998 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2004 from Lanier Technical College in Oakwood with an associate’s degree in information technology. He is employed as a server with Red Lobster in Gainesville.

The couple plans to wed Jan. 20, 2008, at the State Botanical Gardens Day Chapel in Athens.
