Charles R. and Joan M. Moore of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Keri Denice Moore to Phillip Tyler Lamb, son of Phyllis P. Lamb of Metter and Michael and Dona Lamb of Douglas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Grady and Thelma McCarty, and the late Charles E. and Sarah Addie Moore.

She is a 2005 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville. She is employed as a dispatcher at Seasons Transport in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Troy Purvis of Metter and the late Dot Purvis, and Martha Lamb of Swainsboro and the late Emmitt Lamb.

He is a 2003 graduate of Metter High School in Metter. He is employed as a welder at Kubota in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 4, 2014, in Gainesville.
