Mr. and Mrs. Johnny McDaniel of Gordo, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Erica Kathleen McDaniel to Mr. David Huntington Abney, son of Mr. Larry Abney and Ms. Cheryl Cunningham of Jacksonville, Fla. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John G. McDaniel, and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Bush. She is a 2006 honor graduate of Gordo High School in Gordo, Ala.
