Mr. and Mrs. George Brinson Lee of Tifton announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Mary Elizabeth Lee to Mr. Mack Holland "Dutch" Guest IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. Phil and Vicki Truelove of Gainesville and Mr. and Mrs. Mack Holland Guest III of Athens.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joyce Lynn Poitevint of Bainbridge, the late Mr. Alec Loyd Poitevint, Mrs. Grace Knowles Lee of Bickley and the late Mr. Eldred Brinson Lee.

She is a 2001 graduate of Tiftarea Academy in Chula. She is employed by Oconee Area Resource Council in Watkinsville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. Robert Otto Tate of Hickory, N.C., the late Mrs. Geraldine Tate, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Adcus Truelove of Gainesville, the late Mr. and Mrs. Carroll A. Morris and the late Mr. and Mrs. Mack Holland Guest Jr.

He is a 2002 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He is employed by LAD Truck Lines in Watkinsville.

The couple plan to wed Nov. 22, 2008, at the Athens First United Methodist Church in Athens.
