Greg and Jackie Keith of Jefferson announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Elizabeth Keith to Daniel Len Edmonston, son of David and Cathy Edmonston of Macon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Nell Dickson and the late Ralph and Mildred Keith.

She is a 2002 graduate of Jefferson High School in Jefferson. She graduated in 2007 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor's degree in Biology. She is attending Mercer Medical School in Macon.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Patricia Starks of Macon, Donnis Edmonston of Pensacola, Fla., and the late Leonard Edmonston.

He is a 2005 graduate of Jones County High School in Gray. He graduated in 2009 from Mercer University in Macon with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. He is attending Mercer Medical School in Macon.

The couple plan to wed April 30, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Jefferson.
