Gary and Irene Kart of Hoschton announce the engagement of their daughter Brittany Jennifer Lauren Kart to Nicholas John Furdyn, son of Theodore and Nancy Furdynof Catawissa, Pa.The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jean Kart and the late Martin Kart of Riverhead, N.Y., and the late Henry Schipf II and Dorothy Schipf of Patchogue, N.Y. She is a 2003 graduate of Parkview High School in Lilburn. She is currently attending the University of Phoenix. She is employed in marketing at Kart Enterprises, Inc. in Lilburn.
