Dr. Alfredo Jorge and Mrs. Kristima Cinda Jaume of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Ms. Alisha Pilar Jaume to Mr. Mark Stephen Boone, son of Mr. Perry Mitchell and Mrs. Janice Johnson Boone of Grayson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Myrtle Dean, and the late Mr. Alfredo Jaume, and Mrs. Nieves Jaume of Miami, Fla.

She is a 2004 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2009 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a first-grade teacher by Gainesville City Schools in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Boone, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Johnson.

He is a 2005 graduate of Grayson High School in Grayson. He graduated in 2009 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor of science degree in political science, where he also received his master’s degree in 2014. He is employed as a project manager at Siemens Medical in Atlanta.

The couple plan to wed June 20, 2015, at The Walters Barn in Lula.
