Mr. and Mrs. John Wesley Jacobs III of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Lydia Ann Jacobs to Mr. Jacob William Gailey, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rick Gailey of Clermont. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Sutton Alexander Jr. of Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. John Wesley Jacobs Jr. of Gainesville and the late Mr. John Wesley Jacobs Jr. She is a 2007 graduate of Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. She graduated in 2011 from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., with a bachelor of science degree in health and exercise science.
