Reggie and Sandra Hulsey of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Lynn LeNora Hulsey to Jay Phillips, son of Bill and Bonnie Graham of Pendergrass and Jeff and Paula Phillips of Philippi, W.Va.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Margie Mooney of Gainesville and the late Carl Mooney, and the late Woodrow and Virginia Hulsey.

She is a 1998 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2006 from Gainesville State College in Gainesville with an associate’s degree in applied science and Lanier Technical College in Oakwood with a degree in dental hygiene. She is employed as a registered dental hygienist by Dental Care of Flowery Branch in Flowery Branch.

The groom-elect is the grandson of William and Edith Bishop of Lula, Pearl Phillips of Philippi, W.Va., and the late Charles Phillips, Wayne and Jeanette Graham of Arthurdale, W.Va., and Janie Jones of Philippi, W.Va., and the late Bud Jones.

He is a 1996 graduate of Duluth High School in Duluth. He is employed as a manager by Quiktrip Corporation in Commerce.

The couple plan to wed May 24, 2014, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Gainesville.
