Mr. and Mrs. James Samuel Huey of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Megan Elizabeth Huey to Mr. Robert Davis Miniard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Alan Miniard Sr. of Aiken, S.C. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Denmark Wooten, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rex Ronald Huey. She is a 2002 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2006 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a degree in communication sciences and disorders.
