Kim and Deborah Honan of Alpharetta announce the engagement of their daughter Emily Katherine Honan to William Addison Dillard, son of David and Patti Dillard of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James W. and Margaret Smith of Dawsonville, Theresa Honan of Jacksonville, Fla., and the late Glenn Honan.

She is a 2002 graduate of Milton High School in Alpharetta. She graduated in 2008 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in child and family development. She is employed by the Children’s Wish Foundation.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Peggy Haley of Winder, the late Bill Haley, Janet Dillard of Bethlehem, and the late Jack Dillard.

He is a 2004 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2009 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in housing and consumer economics.

The couple plan to wed May 15, 2010, at Neverland Farms in Cleveland.
