Dr. Elisabeth J. Teal of Dahlonega and Mr. Larry C. Holman of Tucker announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Julia Elisabeth Holman to Mr. Joseph Loren Barbani, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Braswell of Brunswick and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Barbani of Tucson, Ariz.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Dewey E. Teal and Dr. Ramona P. Teal of Carrollton, Mrs. Irene Holman of Gainesville and the late Rev. C. Clyde Holman.

She is a 2006 graduate of Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega. She graduated in 2009 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the Rev. and Mrs. Buford Taylor of St. Simons Islands.

He is a 2003 graduate of North Cobb High School in Kennesaw. He graduated in 2009 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

The couple plan to wed April 24, 2010, at Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Atlanta.
