Mr. and Mrs. James Karr of Chestnut Mountain announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Shelia Lee Hallman to Mr. Donald Lee Cheek, son of the late Mr. Bobby Lee Cheek, and the late Mrs. Louise Cheek.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Howard Lee Hallman and the late Mrs. Pearl Elliott Hallman.

She is a 1980 graduate of College Park High School in College Park.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. David Cheek and the late Mrs. Lula Cheek.

He is a 1978 graduate of Madison County High School in Madison. He is employed as a troubleshooter at Georgia Power in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed at 4 p.m. on Sept. 26, 2015, in Gainesville.
