Ronny Edward and Joan Weatherby Gilliland of Buford announce the engagement of their daughter Kathryn Taylor Gilliland to Blake Anthony Duncan, son of Anthony Keith and Lee Ann Thornhill Duncan of Flowery Branch. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Myron and Latrelle Gilliland, Vernell Cochran Weatherby of Smyrna, and the late Maynard and Rachel Weatherby. She is a 2009 graduate of Mill Creek High School in Hoschton.
