Sarah Funk and David Harvey

Dr. and Mrs. Wesley T. Funk of Clayton announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Sarah Leanna Funk to Mr. David Lee Harvey, son of Mrs. Sharon White of Dallas and Mr. Steve Harvey of Clayton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Funk of Clermont, Mr. Jack Stevens of Gainesville and the late Mrs. Dorothy Stevens.

She is a 2007 graduate of Rabun County High School in Tiger. She attended North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega. She is employed as a physical therapy technician with Dosher Physical Therapy Associates in Clayton.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. Chuck MacDonald and Mrs. Nancy Foster, both of Jonesboro and the late Mr. and Mrs. A.V. "Duck" Harvey.

He is a 2004 graduate of Rabun County High School in Tiger. He is a contractor with Harvey's Gate & Franklin Fence Company in Clayton. He is a baseball coach at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Rabun Gap.

The couple plan to wed May 28, 2011, at Chattooga Belle Farm in Long Creek, S.C.
