Mr. and Mrs. Edsel Wakefield Fickey of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Karon Ashleigh Fickey to Mr. Ethan Lee Burke, son of Mrs. Lena Louise Parham of Cornelia and the late Mr. Roy Lee Burke. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Edsel Walter Fickey of Titusville, Fla., and the late Mrs. Loretta Young Fickey, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Terrell Finch. She is a 2001 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville.
