William III and Lyndi Eckardt of Winder announce the engagement of their daughter Andi Elizabeth Eckardt to Ryan Alexander Savage, son of Tim and Jena Savage of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Winifred Strain of Lawrenceville and the late Thomas Strain, and William II and Sheryl Eckardt of Duluth.

She is a 2010 graduate of a homeschooling program in Winder. She plans to graduate in 2015 from Brenau University with a bachelor of arts degree in mass communication, where she is a member of Phi Mu sorority. She is employed as an obituary clerk at The Times in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Lorraine Bell of Gainesville and the late J.P. “Cuz” Bell, and Phillip and Fay Savage of Gainesville.

He is a 2006 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He is employed as a contractor at Savage Construction in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed Nov. 14, 2015.
