Deborah Davidson and Ron Cadora of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Adrienne Grace Davidson to Nathan Scott Van Curen, son of Anne and Dennis Van Curen of Maryville, Tenn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Winifred Winter of Gainesville and the late Robert Winter, and Mary Lu and Jim Davidson of Rochester, N.Y.

She is a 2001 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2004 from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is currently attending the Medical College of Georgia and plans to graduate in May 2009 with a medical doctorate.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Barbara Stanley of Maryville and the late Thomas Stanley, and Faye and Alvin Van Curen of Nags Head, N.C.

He is a 2000 graduate of Maryville High School in Maryville. He graduated in 2004 from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering. He is employed as a software engineer for IBM.

The couple plans to wed Oct. 11, 2008, in Asheville, N.C.
