The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Frank and Dana Faniola of Bristol, Tenn., LaVerne Dempsey of Bluff City, Tenn., and the late Sam Crosswhite.

She is a 1998 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2004 from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., with a bachelor's degree in biology. She is employed as a sales representative with Quest Safety in Fishers, Ind.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Bernice Harper of Carlinville, Ill., and the late John Harper and the late Michael and Elizabeth Charnisky.

He is a 1997 graduate of Carlinville High School in Carlinville. He graduated in 2001 from Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal, Ill., with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is employed as a sales representative with Computer Aided Technology Inc. in Indianapolis, Ind.

The couple plans to wed Oct. 20, 2007, at Holy Spirit Parish in Fishers.
