George and Martha Ann Crenshaw of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Chase Elizabeth Crenshaw to Charles Phillip Townsend, son of Charles and Phyllis Townsend, of Gainesville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Betty Davis and the late Malissa Tubbs. She is a 1991 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville.
