Greg and Laura Chastain of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Chelsey Marie Chastain to Thomas Jason Hogan, son of Thomas and Debra Hogan of Cleveland.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jeanette Turner, the late Bill Turner and Calvin and Urania Chastain, all of Cleveland.

She is a 2005 graduate of Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. She graduated in 2009 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in risk management and insurance. She is employed as an Atlanta regional sales manager with Business Distribution Solutions in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Leroy and Elsie Hogan of Cleveland, the late Margaret Hogan, Charles Loudermilk of Mt. Airy, Mildred Goolsby of Cleveland and the late Lewis Goolsby.

He is a 2001 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. He graduated in 2004 from Lanier Technical College in Gainesville with associate degrees in marketing management and motor sports vehicle technology. He is employed as a driver with Hogan Motorsports and chief operating officer with Hogan Lumber, both in Cleveland.

The couple plan to wed April 23, 2011, at Smithgall Woods Lodge in Helen.
