Lamar and Martha Burgess of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Stephanie Lynn Burgess to Stetson Robert Lusk, son of Melodie and Harold Palmer of Cleveland and Danny and Freda Lusk of Baldwin.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bonnell Dyer of Gainesville, the late Charlie Dyer, Susie Thomas and William Burgess.

She is a 2002 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She is employed as an emergency room assistant with Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Cecil and Gaylon Lusk of Cleveland, and the late Fred and Alba Chance.

He is a 2004 graduate of White County High School in Cleveland. He graduated in 2009 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in social science. He is employed as a farm manager with Palmer Poultry in Cleveland.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 10, 2010, at Sautee Nacoochee Vineyards in Sautee-Nacoochee.
