Steve and Amy Browning of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Emily Eden Browning to Jonathan Kyle Duncan, son of Kim and Ronnie Booth of Thompson Station, Tenn., and John and Nicole Duncan of Blairsville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Don and Martha Elrod of Oakwood, Gene Beckstein of Gainesville and the late Marjorie Beckstein.

She is a 2009 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. She is employed in customer service with Publix in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Howard and Carol Leman of Seabring, Fla., and Freddy and Sheila Dono of Hollywood, Fla.

He is a 2007 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. He is employed as a grocery team leader with Publix in Flowery Branch.

The couple plan to wed April 30, 2011, at Central Baptist Church in Gainesville.
