Virginia A. Archer of Gainesville announces the engagement of her daughter Misty Dawn Archer to Allen Lorenzo Warren, son of Josie P. Warren of Greenville, S.C. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Ricky J. Archer.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bobbie J. Martin of Gainesville, James C. Hall of Front Royal, Va., Clifford Savage of Gainesville and the late Jeanette Savage.

She is a 1995 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville. She is employed as a receptionist with Med Link in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mary Warren of Greenville, S.C., and the late James Warren.

He is a 2003 graduate of Stephens County High School in Toccoa. He is employed as a maintenance technician with Coleman Natural Foods in Braselton.

The couple plan to wed Nov. 5, 2008.
