Haskell and Marie McQueen of Flowery Branch celebrated their 50th anniversary on June 28, 2008.

The couple celebrated by going on a cruise to Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel, Mexico. Airfare was given to them by their sister and brother-in-law, Claudine and Jim Nordhues, who also accompanied them on their cruise.

The couple said, "We have had a wonderful marriage and enjoy traveling. We have lots of special friends and family."
