Cecil and Claudine Truelove Martin of Gainesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Jan. 1, 2009. A reception held in their honor at Corinth Baptist Church was given by their children Mitchell and Laura Martin, Les Martin and Joel and Beth Martin.

The couple have three children and four grandchildren.
