Jerry and Elise Jackson of Gainesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 15, 2012. A reception held in their honor was given by their family, and the couple celebrated on a Caribbean cruise. The couple have two children, Kim Jackson and Ginger Jackson, and two grandchildren.
