Kenneth and Sarah Head of Gainesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Jan. 22, 2011.

A reception was held in their honor at the home of their son and daughter-in-law Scott and Kathy Head with relatives, friends and neighbors in attendance.

The couple have one son and one grandson.
