Gene and Joyce Bryant of Gainesville celebrated their 50th anniversary on Aug. 31, 2012. A reception held in their honor at the Cottrell Ranch was given by their children and grandchildren. The couple have two children, Cheryl Pendley and Kaye Jackson, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
