Dr. and Mrs. Charles Britt celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 13, 2008. A reception was held in their honor at McEver Road Baptist Church in Oakwood with many family members and friends present.

Dr. Britt is the former pastor of McEver Road Baptist Church, having served from 1992-2006.

The couple have three children and six grandchildren.
