Dozens of local kids who have been practicing their singing and dancing for the past couple of weeks will strut their stuff today and Thursday.

The annual production of "Seussical Jr." by Gainesville Parks and Recreation and Pam Ware Children's Musical Theatre features a bevy of local kids, all singing the praises of The Cat in the Hat and other favorites by Dr. Seuss.

Performances are 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. today and Thursday at Gainesville High School's Performing Arts Center, 830 Century Place, Gainesville. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.
