Two-person band to entertain contra dancers Saturday night

Two hours later, Windmill will entertain contra dancers at the First Baptist Church’s Family Life Center in Gainesville.

The two-person band will perform a free concert from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Inman Perk. Two hours later, Windmill will entertain contra dancers at the First Baptist Church’s Family Life Center in Gainesville.

The band Windmill will blow back into town for a concert and contra dance this weekend.

The two-person band of Laurie Fisher and Steve Trishman, both of Asheville, N.C., will perform at two Gainesville venues Saturday, Feb. 14. A free concert will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Inman Perk, 102 Washington St. SW, Gainesville. A couple of hours later, Windmill will entertain contra dancers from 8-11 p.m. in First Baptist Church’s Family Life Center. Dance lessons begin at 7:30 p.m.

Cost for the contra dance at the church off Green Street will be $10 for adults, $5 for teens and children and nondancers free. Cost is $20 maximum for a family.
