The band Windmill will blow back into town for a concert and contra dance this weekend.
The two-person band of Laurie Fisher and Steve Trishman, both of Asheville, N.C., will perform at two Gainesville venues Saturday, Feb. 14. A free concert will be from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Inman Perk, 102 Washington St. SW, Gainesville. A couple of hours later, Windmill will entertain contra dancers from 8-11 p.m. in First Baptist Church’s Family Life Center. Dance lessons begin at 7:30 p.m.
Cost for the contra dance at the church off Green Street will be $10 for adults, $5 for teens and children and nondancers free. Cost is $20 maximum for a family.
