The beauty of spring will be on display to runners taking part in the Trillium Trek Trail Run on Saturday, March 24, at Elachee Nature Science Center.

The race begins 8:30 a.m. and will include 5-kilometer, 10K and half-marathon courses, plus a Kid's Fun Run.

The single-track trails will lead runners to Walnut Creek and Elachee's 140-foot suspension bridge, along moderately rolling hills.

Registration includes a T-shirt, postrace refreshments and a raffle ticket. Winners in various categories receive hand-carved pendants.
