Theater seeks actors for summer plays in Habersham

The search is on for men and women with acting talent to fill the roles of two one-act plays and a Southern comedy set for production this spring and summer at Habersham Community Theatre.

Directors are seeking men and women ranging in age from 20s to 60s to fill 10 roles in “Together” and “Failing the Improv.” The two one-act comedies will be produced May 8-10.

The theater is looking for two men (ages 20-60) and one woman (20s) to perform in “Christmas Belles,” the next main stage production scheduled June 13-15 and 19-22.

Auditions will be at 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the theater, 1370 Washington St., Clarkesville.

The next round of auditions for the summer musical “The King and I,” will be May 11 and 12. Roles are available for children and adults.

Auditions for children will be at 5 p.m. and for adults 6 p.m. The play will run from July 31-Aug. 3 and Aug. 7-10.
