Swing into night with the Metro Jazz Club
MetroJazz at 550
The Metro Jazz Club is a 17-piece band dedicated to the preservation of some of the best music ever composed, from the smoothest jazz to the spirited rhythms of swing.

Lawrenceville — Aurora Theatre is turning over its Swing Nights song selections to the audience on Sunday night.

The votes are in and at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 14, the Metro Jazz Club will play the most popular selections from categories such as television and movie themes, Rat Pack standards and Big Band classics. Tickets are $18.

The evening's hostess will be Aurora Theatre associate producer and resident musical director Ann-Carol Pence. She will be joined by special guest and one of Atlanta’s busiest musical theater performers, Eric Moore (Christmas Canteen, Once On This Island at Aurora Theatre). Moore is a soulful tenor whose voice will lift spirits and take you back to the Big Band era in style.

This special edition of the concert series will feature the Metro Jazz Club with an intimate venue with other powerhouse vocalists. Led by jazz sax man Gary Dalton, the band is accompanied by crooner Jason Joines and zesty diva Amanda Richards.
