Swing for Hills at annual golf tournament in White County

Networking with others for a good cause is the name of the game — a golf game that is.

The White County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Swing for the Hills golf tournament Friday, July 29, at Mossy Creek Golf Course, 7883 Ga. 254, in Cleveland.

The tournament is a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce, which for more than 30 years has been working to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life  for the county.

Open to the general public, check-in begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Tournament play will be in a three-person Lauderdale format.

JW Reed’s is sponsoring the team social at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at 318 N. Main St. in Cleveland. All players are encouraged to attend as teams will be announced at that time.

Registration is $85 per player, and includes cart, green fees, lunch, swag bag, T-shirt, two Mulligans and two drink tickets for Team Social. Registration can be done at the chamber office, Mossy Creek Golf Course or online at www.whitecountychamber.org,

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
