SNCA galleries splash a little red on winter

Need a little color to brighten up your winter days?

The twin galleries at the Sautee Nacoochee Center will feature "The Color Red" art exhibit opening Jan. 20 and extending through March 4.

Gallery painters, jewelry artists, glass artists, fine art photographers, potters, fiber artists and others have worked to create art with the color red in mind.

The Center Gallery and Gallery Too, as well as the Folk Art Gallery in the north hallway, are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.

All work on display in the galleries is for sale and has been created by local artists.
