Animal lovers can put their golfing skills to good use Sunday, June 10.

The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia will hold its annual Putting for Pets Mini-Golf Event at The Oaks Miniature Golf in Gainesville, located at 2709 Whiting Road. Tee times start at 2 p.m.

Proceeds will benefit the Humane Society’s programs.

“Putting for Pets is a fun event for the entire family; we have players of all ages come out to participate,” says Rick Aiken, Humane Society executive director. “We’re always very appreciative of the community’s support of this event.”

Registration is $15 per player or $50 for a team of four. Players can register in advance by downloading the registration form at www.hsnega.org, or calling 770-532-6617 to have a form emailed or mailed.

Same-day registration also is available and begins at 1 p.m. Participants who pre-register will be guaranteed an event T-shirt.
