The Emporium two-day shopping event is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church on Green Street in Gainesville.

The event is sponsored annually by the Heart & Hands Women's Ministry at First Baptist. More than 70 vendors will fill the church's banquet hall with booths selling items such as furniture and home decor items, luggage, clothing and accessories, holiday items, children's books and toys, artwork, collectibles, stationery and food.

Sandwiches, salads and bakery items will be available for purchase so that you can spend the whole day shopping.

Tickets are $5. All proceeds benefit the Gateway Center for Domestic Violence.
