Journey back to the Revolutionary War era during the Colonial Faire and Muster at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at the Northeast Georgia History Center in Gainesville.
Visitors may experience aspects of a colonial faire, observe spinners and other textile artists as well as the blacksmith plying their skills. Families may engage in hands-on activities such as writing with a quill and homemade ink; making and applying sealing wax; and playing colonial children’s games.
Muster and drill with the Revolutionary War re-enactors will be on site at 322 Academy St. NE in Gainesville. Visitors may also view a replica of the Liberty Bell, courtesy of Bob Swoszowski and McDonald’s.
