The classical sounds of two violins, one viola, one cello and one piano will reverberate through a chapel on the Piedmont College campus this weekend.
The Piedmont College resident chamber ensemble, Piedmont Camerata, will perform at
4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, in the college chapel in Demorest. The ensemble includes Heather Baird-Strachan and Rachael Fischer on violins, Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi on piano, David Peyton on cello and Megan Chisom Peyton on viola.
The program will include works by Luigi Boccherini, Franz Schubert, Arvo Pärt and Robert Schumann, with program comments by Bob Glass.
Admission is free to the chapel at 992 Central Ave. in Demorest.
