Domra virtuoso Angelina Galashenkova-Reed and award-winning classical guitarist John Huston evoke musical traditions, both ancient and modern, as the duo 9 String Theory.

They will perform music of Argentina, Russia, Austria, Brazil, Romania and Italy at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at Sautee Nacoochee Association Center’s theater, 283 Ga. 255, in Sautee.

Before moving to the United States 2001, Galashenkova-Reed performed as a soloist with the famous Andreev Russian Folk Orchestra in St. Petersburg, the Police Orchestra of Moscow and numerous small ensembles. Huston distinguished himself as one of the most exciting and expressive guitarists of his generation. The Southern Arts Foundation has hailed him as “one of the finest young guitarists today.”
